HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- An actor allegedly helped save a man who fell onto the tracks at the Hollywood and Vine Metro Station early Sunday.
Michael McCusker says he was waiting for a train at around 8:30 a.m. when the man, who appeared to be blind, suddenly fell onto the tracks.
He says, at first, it didn't even seem real but McCusker quickly realized he needed to help.
"The guy was sprawled out on the rails, blood everywhere and me and another guy jumped down and picked him up, tried to, and eventually got him back onto the platform and pushed him back up," McCusker said.
A third person helped to pull the injured man up, McCusker said. A train passed just a few minutes later.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department says the man who fell was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
