Bobcat takes bite out of shark on Florida beach

Sharks are usually on the prowl, but this time one became the prey.

A bobcat was caught taking a bite out of a killer sea creature along Florida's Vero Beach.

Vacationer John Bailey snapped a shot of the wild animal encounter on Monday. He figured the big cat was simply trying to catch a fish and pulled out the shark instead.

The bobcat did not keep the shark for long. Apparently, the cat was startled by Bailey, and he dropped the shark and ran off.

Wildlife experts don't think this image was doctored in any way, noting that Florida bobcats are known to hunt along beaches.
