LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- The daughter of a 57-year-old woman who was killed in Lakewood has been arrested, authorities said.

Authorities found Margaret Rion unresponsive in the 4100 block of Maybank Avenue on Tuesday night. Homicide detectives believed she was likely murdered because of the trauma to her upper torso.

The murder weapons, a hammer and a knife, were recovered at Rion's apartment, officials said. The motive for the killing was not immediately known.
