San Pedro murder investigation underway after man is found stabbed to death

SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Authorities were searching for a suspect or suspects after a 25-year-old man was found stabbed to death in San Pedro early Thursday.

Officers responded to the scene on 9th and Palos Verdes streets at about 2 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Harbor Division.

Authorities said the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police had no suspect description and no known motive.
