Possible mechanical problems reported on American Airlines flight to LAX

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Possible mechanical problems were reported on an American Airlines flight from Honolulu to Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Flight 284 had 173 people on board, including crew and passengers. Emergency vehicles were on site.

The plane landed at Los Angeles International Airport without incident.
