Search underway for missing 86-year-old woman in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Family members and Los Angeles police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 86-year-old woman.

According to police, Myong Suk Yi was last seen on Tuesday around 5 p.m. at a salon in the 4200 block of Beverly Boulevard. She never returned home.

Family members say they are very concerned because Yi is in need of medication and does not have a cellphone.

Yi is described as Asian, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 86 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black turtleneck sweater, black pants and a dark blue jacket.
