SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The influx of homeless encampments in San Pedro have residents outraged.
The city says many of the homeless people in the area are transplants coming in within the last two weeks after being moved from other parts of the Los Angeles region that are being revitalized.
City Councilman Joe Buscaino says the city will provide services to help anyone who wants to get off the streets, but adds the homeless camp will be removed from the downtown area sooner than later.
