2 CHP officers injured in rollover crash on 14 Freeway in Palmdale

PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- Two California Highway Patrol officers were injured in a rollover crash Saturday on the 14 Freeway in Palmdale.

The crash happened near East Barrel Springs Road.

Witnesses said the CHP vehicle was changing lanes when another driver made a lane change at the same time. The CHP vehicle, which reportedly had its lights on, then crashed onto the side of the road and overturned.

The officers were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Their conditions are unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
