JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Three missing boys and their mother were located Thursday morning after the woman was identified by authorities as the suspect in the disappearance, the the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m., a sheriff's spokesperson confirmed to ABC7 that the three boys and 23-year-old Selena Rico had been found. Additional details were not immediately provided.
The boys, who range in age from 1 to 4 years old, were last seen Saturday near Mission Boulevard and Kathy Avenue in Jurupa Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Rico was believed to be driving a black 2011 Kia Sorento with California license 8XMZ602.
According to the Sheriff's Department, investigators were unsure of the specifics of the custody agreement between the boys' mother and the father, but an endangered missing advisory was issued early Thursday morning after the father was supposed to get the children back, and that did not occur.
Before the children and Rico were located, authorities believed the boys were still with their mother.
