Amber Alert issued for 9-year-old girl, 12-year-old boy out of Santa Clarita, CHP says

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) -- An Amber Alert was issued Thursday morning for two children who were last seen in Santa Clarita with a 45-year-old woman.

Sofia Ordonez, 9, and Romeo Ordonez, 12 are believed to be with Cristal Ordonez, according to the California Highway Patrol. They were last seen Wednesday afternoon near River Circle and Soledad Canyon Road, but additional details were not available.

Cristal is believed to be driving a black 2018 Kia Sorento with California license plate 8LRF237.

In an evening update, the California Highway Patrol said the vehicle has been found but the children and woman remain missing.
