Missing 2-year-old child at center of Amber Alert found safe, CHP says

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A missing 2-year-old child at the center of an Amber Alert was found safe on Thursday, police said.

The alert, which was issued earlier in the afternoon, has since been deactivated.

The CHP bulletin stated that the child was last seen with a man identified as 33-year-old Marcus Clayton on Thursday around 11:30 a.m. near Figueroa Street and Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles.

No other details were immediately released.
