From Mexico City to Toronto, stars from the franchise greet fans before the film hits theaters on Friday

LOS ANGELES -- The "Avatar" world press tour has reached in finale, setting the stage for the franchise's global return with "Fire and Ash."
The stars made final stops in Mexico City and Toronto, greeting fans and posing in front of Pandora-themed displays.
In Mexico City, Sigourney Weaver and Oona Chaplin visited the Antara Cinemex Theatre, while director James Cameron and actor Stephen Lang headed to Toronto's Scotiabank Theatre.

Weaver and Chaplin also enjoyed photo ops atop the city's World Trade Center and explored an immersive lighting backdrop set against the lush Chapultepec Forest.
Beyond North America, the return of the Sully family sparked celebrations across the globe, with events held in China, France, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain and the UK.
With their journey complete, the adventure back to Pandora begins. "Avatar: Fire and Ash" premieres in theaters Friday, Dec. 19.
