Camp Pendleton issues noise advisory amid week of live-fire training with high explosive munitions

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (KABC) -- If you live anywhere near Camp Pendleton, things might get a little noisy over the next week.

Live-fire training exercises with high explosive munitions are scheduled to begin on Saturday, March 14, at the Marine Corps base and will continue until March 22.

According to the base, the noise may be heard at any time during the day or night. There's no word on how far away the sound might carry.
