LYNWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Significant damage was left behind in a Lynwood neighborhood overnight after someone drove off the 105 Freeway and crashed into multiple parked cars.
The incident happened around midnight Tuesday near the Long Beach Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. The agency said it received a report from someone who said a car flew off the westbound side of the freeway and landed on top of other cars.
At least one person suffered minor injuries. The CHP said SoCal Edison responded to the scene because some power lines were also damaged.
Video from the scene shows what appears to be a nitrous oxide tank, but investigators could not confirm.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
