LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Federal authorities on Tuesday morning conducted a drug enforcement operation at a home in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, detaining at least one person.
"We can confirm that personnel from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Los Angeles Field Division conducted a drug enforcement operation on 400 block of S. Wilton Place," the agency said in a statement. "As this is an ongoing investigation, DEA will not be providing additional information at this time."
Video from AIR7 showed at least 15 DEA agents in tactical gear outside a multi-story residence near the intersection of Wilton Place and Fourth Street.
Two of the agents were seen in the driveway speaking with a woman seated in a chair and a shirtless man whose hands were bound in front of him with zip ties. The trunks of two vehicles in the driveway were open, and an armored vehicle was parked on the street.
Reached by ABC7 for comment, an LAPD spokesperson said the Los Angeles Police Department was not aware of the operation.
