Deadly crash shuts down most southbound lanes of 15 Freeway in Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- A deadly crash on the 15 Freeway shut down most southbound lanes in the Ontario area early Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported just before 5:50 a.m. at Jurupa Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol's traffic log.
Details about what led up to the collision were unclear, but a white SUV and a work truck were involved. One person died at the scene.

Only the right lane of the southbound side of the freeway was open as officials investigated at the scene.
