Driver slams into CHP cruiser on 10 Freeway in Mid-City area

MID-CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A driver slammed into a California Highway Patrol cruiser early Saturday morning on the 10 Freeway in the Mid-City area.

The crash happened just before 2 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway at La Cienega Boulevard.

The officers were investigating another crash involving two cars when they were rear-ended, according to CHP.

Two officers had minor complaints of pain.

One person was arrested, but the reason for the arrest was not immediately unknown.

It was also not clear what incident the arrest was connected to.
