
ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. -- One of the races we are following is the race to replace ex-congressman Eric Swalwell.
Swalwell did not run for his seat again, favoring a gubernatorial campaign instead, until multiple women came forward with allegations of sexual misconduct back in April.

Swalwell denied the allegations but still ended his campaign for governor and resigned from Congress.
The following candidates are on the June 2 ballot:
Alameda County voters will have to cast another ballot for this seat on June 16 in a special election to fill the remainder of Swalwell's term in Congress.
Depending on the results, there could be a runoff election on Aug. 18.
