Fan gets punched, kicked in head during Dodgers-Angels game; 2 arrested

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- Two men were arrested Wednesday after a fight broke out in the stands at Angel Stadium during a game between the Dodgers and Angels.

The brawl was caught on video, which shows a fan wearing what appears to be a Mike Trout jersey getting punched and kicked in the head by a man wearing a Dodgers jersey.

A spokesperson for the Anaheim Police Department told Eyewitness News the fight apparently started over "the stealing of a hat" though further details weren't released.

The two men, who were identified only as 26-year-olds from Tustin, were arrested. One was arrested for felony assault while the other faces a misdemeanor charge.

The condition of the fan who was punched is unknown.
