
PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A brush fire burning near Palmdale in the Antelope Valley on Saturday triggered evacuation orders and warnings for residents living in the area.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fire was first reproted in the hilly community near the 14 Freeway and Pearlblossom Highway, south of Palmdale, around 2:11 p.m.
By about 4:45 p.m., the Lemon Fire grew to 190 acres with 22% containment, according to the fire department.
