Five firearms - including two assault-style rifles - were found in Perryman's vehicle, according to the sheriff's department.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was arrested Friday for multiple weapons violations, the sheriff's department confirmed Saturday.
The 32-year-old was taken into custody just after 9:30 p.m. in Inglewood after deputies with the South Los Angeles Station pulled him over on Manchester Avenue.
Five firearms - including two assault-style rifles - were found in Perryman's vehicle, according to the sheriff's department.
Perryman was arrested and booked on weapons violation charges. The sheriff's department said Perryman was cooperative during the arrest. He's being held without bail at the South Los Angeles Sheriff's Station and is scheduled to appear at Inglewood Court on Tuesday.
Perryman's agent Ron Butler released a statement saying he's aware of the incident and that they're still gathering facts.
"We are aware of the recent reports regarding Denzel Perryman's arrest in Los Angeles. At this time, we are still gathering facts and will fully cooperate with the process," said Butler. "Denzel is a respected veteran in the NFL and a dedicated father, teammate, and professional. While we do not take this situation lightly, we remain confident that the matter will be resolved fairly and in accordance with the law.
Out of respect for the process and all parties involved, we will have no further comment at this time."
The Chargers also released a statement Saturday, saying the organization is aware of the incident and is gathering information.
