INGLEWOOD, Calif (KABC) -- From Sofi Stadium to the Intuit Dome, Inglewood is full of action and there's a new hotel in the area that's hoping to be part of the action, not just near it. It's called The Anthem Hotel, a newly renovated and rebranded hotel that's just steps from all the action. It's the first lifestyle hotel to debut in what they're calling the Stadium District.

"Every sporting event starts with the national anthem. Every concert, big fans go to these huge concerts and they love their music and that may be a part of their. Their own personal anthem," said General Manager Stephen Chavez.

Here, they're hoping to turn a regular stay into an experience.

"Travel has evolved so much where it's not just a room. It's - the room's a part of it, but what else does the hotel and the experience bring?" said Chavez.

So they're curating fun moments, like a Spanish guitar player when Los Bukis was down the street at the Forum, or a DJ and glitter glam center when Lady Gaga was in town.

"We have our events coordinator that we brought on board and her entire job is to look at the events calendar, what's going on and how can we curate the perfect experience for that specific event," he said.

"The vibes. It's really about the vibes here. We're so close to all the action. And seeing all the guests come in and out, you see people dressed up for different events, different concerts," said Director of Operations Heesung Choi.

With the Intuit Dome right next door, there's a suite dedicated to basketball, paying homage to LA's deep-rooted basketball culture.

"The homecourt suite is a fully immersive bookable suite for our guests that give the guests the opportunity to be a part of those NBA weekends," said Chavez.

They are excited about activations for the World Cup, next year's Super Bowl, and then the Olympics. It's not just for people coming from out of town. They hope locals take advantage of it and stay after an event, instead of fighting traffic on Century Boulevard.
