NorCal woman seen on video throwing pug arrested

FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- Police have arrested the Fairfield woman seen on surveillance video violently tossing a pug onto the street.

Fairfield police are searching for a woman who was caught on surveillance video grabbing her pug by the neck and then throwing it to the ground during a fight with her then-boyfriend.

Brandi Chin faces animal cruelty charges for what happened during the Dec. 19 argument with her boyfriend.

Chin had gone into hiding after video of the abuse surfaced.

The pug wasn't seriously hurt and is now in the care of Solano County Animal Services.
