SAN FRANCISCO -- The Marine Mammal Center has safely captured a male sea lion pup that apparently wandered into the streets in the Marina District of San Francisco.

The sea lion was sitting under an SUV on Divasadero Street and Marina Boulevard right across the street from the Bay around 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Crews were able to safely capture the sea lion just before 7 a.m. The sea lion had already been tagged before it was captured.
