PORTER RANCH, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A tanker truck leaked fuel on the eastbound 118 Freeway after at least seven vehicles crashed in Porter Ranch.

The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. near Hayvenhurst Avenue. The semi-truck was involved in a crash with at least six other vehicles, authorities said.

Authorities said at least one person was taken to a nearby hospital. Any other injuries were unknown.

The eastbound lanes were closed until about 4 a.m. when the carpool lane was reopened. All lanes were reopened around 6 a.m.

It was unclear what caused the crash.
