SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are investigating a pair of overnight shootings in South Los Angeles that left two people dead 10 minutes and 20 blocks apart. It is not yet known if the two incidents are related.

The first shooting was reported at the corner of East 116th Street and South San Pedro Avenue around 12:20 a.m. Police say the suspects fired a number of rounds at the victim from inside a white vehicle. Jacoby Plummer, 26, was killed.

About 10 minutes later, Calvin Williams, 38, was shot while standing next to his car in a back alley near East 120th Street and Wadsworth Avenue.

Police were investigating if the same vehicle was used in the attacks and if the incidents were gang-related.
