Unmasking Dodger superfan Mariachi Loco
Who is the Dodger superfan behind the bandanna and sombrero? He's from Boyle Heights and says he feels like he's Mickey Mouse but at Dodger stadium.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Baseball season is back and many at Dodger stadium are ready to take fresh pictures for the gram (Instagram).

Some even make a line to take a picture with Dodger superfan 'Mariachi Loco'.

"People want to take a picture with Mariachi Loco," Richie Moreno, also known as Mariachi Loco, said. "I'm the Mickey Mouse at Dodger stadium, the happiest place on earth for me."

But instead of wearing a pair of black ears, this Boyle Heights native created his own outfit.

"Cover my face with a skeleton bandanna, I wear a mariachi blue sombrero and a Dodger outfit," Moreno said.

It all started in 2012, when he laid eyes on his first blue sombrero.

"I was at Placita Olvera and I fell in love with a mariachi sombrero," Moreno said. "I've always liked mariachi music, and I bought the sombrero and I started taking it to games."

Game after game, Moreno started to gain popularity. There's even a bobblehead and pins of him. But here's something many may not know about Mariachi Loco.

"I work for the city of LA, bureau of street services," Moreno said. "Me growing up here in Boyle Heights, it's been rough but thank God I'm still here. Having the support of my friends and family, I'm really a lucky man."

You can find Moreno on Instagram as @mariachiloco_1 and can take a picture with at Dodger games or at away games too.
