A pilot has been taken to the hospital after landing on top of a house in a Houston suburb on Monday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Fulshear fire officials shared an image of the yellow aircraft on the home along Kitty Hawk Street, saying several agencies are responding to the scene.
DPS reported that the plane was attempting to land at a nearby airstrip.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane was a Piper J3C-65 aircraft.
The pilot was the only person on board and was taken to Memorial Hermann Katy for minor injuries.
It's unclear whether there was anyone inside the home or if they were injured.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
