Residents in Eagle Rock were temporarily evacuated after what appeared to be a grenade was found in someone's backyard.
A three-year-old made a scary discovery in his front yard: a live hand grenade.
A suspicious item inside a parked car prompted a bomb squad response and some evacuations, but nothing threatening was found in the vehicle.
"Beyond the uniform and beyond the badge, he was mine. He was my partner, my best friend, my safe place and my whole world - my everything," said Detective William Osborn's wife, Detective Shannon Rincon.
