Kirk Nieuwenhuis reports to Angels as Collin Cowgill hits disabled list

The Angels placed outfielder Collin Cowgill on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 26, because of a sprained right wrist, as recent acquisition Kirk Nieuwenhuis reported to the team.
