La dolce vita: Flavia Pennetta wins US Open final over Roberta Vinci

Flavia Pennetta saved the best for last. She beat fellow Italian Roberta Vinci 7-6 (4), 6-2 to win the US Open and then announced she was retiring from tennis at the end of the year.
