3 shot in Ted Watkins Memorial Park in Watts

WATTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Three people were shot in the Watts area of Los Angeles Thursday night.

Shots were fired in Ted Watkins Memorial Park shortly after 7 p.m. near the intersection of Central Avenue and Century Boulevard.

LAPD officers and L.A. County Sheriff's deputies were on scene investigating.

Three people were hit by gunfire and were hospitalized. The extent of their injuries was not immediately released.
