LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- University of California, Los Angeles police hope a new sketch will lead them to whoever showed a handgun to a student last week.

The incident happened early Friday morning off campus in the 400 block of Landfair Avenue.

According to the campus police crime alert, the suspect lifted his shirt and displayed a gun tucked in his waistband to a female student.

The student took off, and so did the suspect. He was last seen running westbound toward Midvale Avenue.

The man is described as being of Hispanic or Middle Eastern descent, in his early 20s, 6 feet tall with a stocky build, brown hair and facial stubble. He was last seen wearing a white long-sleeve collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up, blue jeans and white basketball shoes.
