CARACAS, Venezuela (KABC) -- Dramatic video captured looters ransacking a bakery in Venezuela amid mass food shortages.
The bakery, located in the Urbina area of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, was swarmed on June 9.
Video shows looters kicking the doors down to the Duri bakery, climbing over counters, and raiding shelves for food.
At least three people were killed during food riots in the last week, according to Reuters.
Venezuela has been plagued with chronic food shortages amid a severe recession, currency controls and rationing introduced by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's government.
Huge lines have formed outside supermarkets as public anger has boiled over in recent weeks.
