Pasadena school destroyed in Eaton Fire has solemn service year later

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Saint Mark's Episcopal School was completely destroyed in the Eaton Fire. But the school's students, parents and teachers remain bound together in strength and community.

Members of the school gathered Thursday at EF Academy, St Mark's temporary home, to hold a special service to commemorate the one-year mark of the Eaton Fire.

"Today was the day we lost our home," said Erion Taylor, whose house was destroyed in the fire. "But it's also the day that we solidified our community."
