LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- In "Get Hard," Will Ferrell plays a millionaire convicted of fraud who is given 30 days to get his affairs in order before he heads to prison.
He hires a guy he wrongly assumes is an ex-convict to prepare him for life behind bars. Kevin Hart plays the guy tasked with toughening up Ferrell's character.
"You're not going to find this type of funny anywhere else. This is Will Ferrell times Kevin Hart. This is a dream, a match made in heaven," Hart said.
Ferrell and Hart said the comedy is outlandish and that they pushed the limits.
"It's super controversial and that's why you need to buy a lot of tickets to come and see what's so controversial because I can't even tell you. It's so jaw-dropping, so yes, most controversial film of the year," Ferrell said, with a laugh.
The movie hits theaters nationwide Friday.
