Plastic may put babies in obesity risk

A new European study found that mice babies exposed to chemicals used in baby bottles and other plastic food containers tended to become obese later in life.

Experts say the findings could change how obesity is viewed and dealt with.

If the findings are proven true in humans, researchers say the focus must be changed from losing weight as adults to prevention of weight gain in early development.
