Obama's family in Kenya proud of Senator

In Kenya, students at a school named after the Senator have been celebrating ever since they got word that Obama clinched the nomination.

Senator Obama's 83-year-old grandmother lives next to the school and near the grave of the Senator's father.

She tells visitors she's very proud of her grandson.

In a nearby town, Obama's uncle tried to express the family's happiness.

"I do not have adequate words enough to express our deep sense of what we feel as a family," he said.

Senator Obama last visited Kenya in 2006.
