T-Mobile workers attacked during holdup

March 18, 2009 6:12:44 AM PDT
Police are searching for a pair of armed robbers who attacked two employees during a holdup at a T-Mobile store in Cypress.Authorities said the two gunmen walked into the store in the 6900 block of Katella Avenue just before 9 p.m.

The suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas to cover their faces.

According to the employees, one of the robbers flashed a semi-automatic handgun and ordered them to start filling duffle bags with Google G1 smart phones.

"The next thing I knew, I didn't see anything because I was bent over, he hit me in the head with the gun," said robbery victim Paul Snow.

Police said the suspects fled with more than 50 phones valued at over $20,000.

The employees were treated for minor injuries.

Anyone with information should call Cypress police at (714) 229-6631.
