Marines killed in helicopter crash

ALPINE, Calif. The helicopter was assigned to the /*Miramar Marine Corps Air Station*/ and part of the /*Camp Pendleton*/-based 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

The /*Defense Department*/ accident investigation team was looking into the crash, which sparked a small brushfire.

The helicopter was reportedly carrying military weapons.
