Colorado town tops best small town list

LOS ANGELES You may want to put Louisville, Colorado, at the top of your list because the town at the top of /*Money*/ magazine's list of best small towns to live in for 2009.

Louisville is about 20 miles northwest of Denver.

Money bases its list on economy, schools, affordable homes and low crime rates.

The rest of the top five are Chanhassen, Minnesota; Papillion, Nebraska; Middleton, Wisconsin; and Milton, Massachusetts.

California cities in the top 100 are Walnut and Rancho Santa Margarita in Southern California, and Clayton in the San Francisco-Bay area.
