The mother of missing college student Donna Jou is launching a new search for her daughter's body.Nili Jou has hired a new team to begin searching Wednesday morning in Cabrillo Bay and Wilmington Marina.
Convicted sex offender John Steven Burgess was sentenced in May to five years in prison for his role in the death of the 19-year-old student.
Burgess admitted Jou died after he gave her some drugs at a party in his home in 2007. He admitted dumping her body in the ocean, but it was never found.
