TUJUNGA, Calif. --A one-acre brushfire in Tujunga Wednesday was caused by a transient, the Los Angeles Fire Department announced Thursday. Investigators blame a cooking fire that got out of control for sparking the flames that broke out near some homes in Tujunga, near the site of the devastating Station Fire. The fire was out in about an hour.
There were no damage or injuries reported. There's no word on whether the transient will face any charges.
