Tinker Bell receives Walk of Fame star

HOLLYWOOD Bradley Raymond, director of "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue" spoke at the ceremony.

The ceremony was held the same day as the DVD release of the movie.

Tinker Bell first became a Disney character in the 1953 animated film "Peter Pan."

Tinker Bell joins Big Bird, Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, Godzilla, Kermit the Frog, Mickey Mouse, Rugrats, Shrek, The Simpsons, Snow White, Winnie-the-Pooh and Woody Woodpecker with stars on the Walk of Fame.

Disney is the parent company of ABC7.
