Notes similar to the ones used by the bandit were found on McCormick at the time of the arrest, prompting deputies with the /*Los Angeles Sheriff's Department*/ to contact the /*FBI*/.
After he was released on bail from the sheriff's department, McCormick was arrested on the federal charge of robbing a Chase bank in Alhambra on Sept. 23.
Although McCormick is facing one bank robbery charge, he is suspected in five other bank heists in 2010 in Alhambra, Rosemead and Bellflower.
