Hwy 330 to reopen after rain, mudslide damage

RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif.

Part of Highway 330 below Running Springs closed in December after /*rain*/ and /*mudslides*/ caused areas of the asphalt to crack and break.

Caltrans planned to allow one-way commuter traffic Monday through Friday with restrictions.

Down-bound traffic will be allowed from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., and up-bound traffic will be allowed from 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The /*California Highway Patrol*/ will enforce the time frames.

Construction was scheduled to continue through commute times so drivers should be cautious and expect delays.
