Ford swaps CD players for USB ports in Focus

You might call it a sign of the times. Ford Motor Company has announced it will no longer install CD players in its new Focus vehicles. Instead, the cars will come equipped with USB sockets for digital music players like iPods.

You might call it a sign of the times. Ford Motor Company has announced it will no longer install CD players in its new Focus vehicles.

Instead, the cars will come equipped with USB sockets for digital music players like iPods.

The vehicles will have a computer "hub" where you can access your music library via the Web.

Ford is the first automaker to entirely replace CD players with digital music technology.
