Authorities said a woman reported being raped at the Montage Beverly Hills on North Canon Drive at about 1:30 a.m. The victim was taken to a hospital for observation.
The victim said she was with two men in her room when the situation escalated, and she became fearful, according to a police statement. She contacted the hotel's lobby, which then called police.
After further investigation, the call was determined to be baseless.
