Armed robber hits 3 Long Beach stores in 11 hours

Long Beach police need the public's help in tracking down an armed robber who hit three businesses in an 11-hour span.

Long Beach police need the public's help in tracking down an armed robber who hit three businesses in an 11-hour span.

Police said he robbed a convenience store on Orange Avenue and markets on Broadway and Obispo Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday.

In each case, the suspect always pulled out a handgun, demanded cash and made his getaway on a bicycle.

Surveillance cameras captured footage of the suspect inside two of those three businesses.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall with light brown or dirty blond hair and an athletic build.
