Police said the robbery took place in the 200 block of east 1st Street on Friday.
The suspect punched the store clerk in the face before emptying the cash register. The suspect then punched another female employee and stole both of their purses before running out of the store.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 40 years old, standing 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
